For our community service, our task was to refurnished and redecorate a library for a small community for the kids in Serendah. We were able to finish our task in three months which were divided into four different phases due to insufficient time. For this task, we had the chance to work together with our seniors which gave us an unforgettable experience.
My Task
We were divided into groups to finish our main task and I was in the Window and Door group. At first, my task was to repair the broken window and paint it, but it ended up just to be an idea. When I was there, I did repair and paint the broken window with one of my group mate, but we realize that we did not have that much time left as it was getting dark. Not only repairing the broken window, I was asked to measure the window for us to apply a new lock. I also climbed the ladder to clean the ceiling and fans of the building so we can paint it and the last but not the least, painting the windows with the ladder was a tiring job to do.
Reflection
This task that we did for our community service really reminds me to be grateful and feel blessed of what we have right now and to envy others of what they own.

We also used our interior architecture skills in refurnished the library and without us realizing, we actually did and actual designing which is useful for our experience ahead.

I learnt that working in a team and be given a task does not mean that once we finished our task, we can just rest and chill. Working in team means that we need to help and try to achieve the main task in time.
